You can make it as crazy as you want, which is why I mentioned above that the big girls can go all out 😉, but of course you can also just start small and bring out that princess feeling with some accessories. Be sure that your girl wants to sleep well in her own bed and that bedtimes are no longer a problem.
As you can see above, you can already make a pink princess room with a few small additions. Think, for example, of a pink mosquito net that you hang above the bed. If you buy this mosquito net you are ready for a few euros and you immediately give the room a royal look.
By this I mean that you can use fringe, plush and voile in abundance. And flowers. Sweet little flowers as a print for, for example, wallpaper. You can see from the colors used in the bedroom above that a princess room doesn't always have to be pink.
Look, that's really something for a princess, sleeping on a floating carpet 😉 . How cool is this bed?! Admittedly, it is less simple than adding a mosquito net, but it is special. The fringes that you see hanging on this bed remind me of the sofa my parents used to have in the house. It's all coming back!
Of course you don't necessarily have to make a princess room, you can also buy one. For example, you can also buy a Frozen bedroom. For a relatively low amount you are completely done with a bed, bedside table and wardrobe!
Work with lots of pillows, that immediately makes a room more charming and a princess room is simply lovely, isn't it? Take a few shades that you use in the bedroom, for example pink, white and soft green and combine cushions with all kinds of different patterns.
Do you want to easily make a princess room by pimping the bedroom a bit? Also think about wall stickers. Of course you have them in all variants, and also from all princesses.
But you can also opt for beautiful stars or those beautiful 3D butterfly wall stickers as you see above. They are also very cool and not that expensive at all (about € 5.00 for a set of 12).
Tip:Not a fan of the princess room? Then you will find great inspiration for a toddler's room for a 2-year-old girl, with all lovely natural shades.
Making such a four-poster bed is not that difficult. You make a rectangular frame (the size of the bed) to which you attach the curtains and then place it on 4 uprights in each corner of the bed. You are ready! You can attach the curtains to the frame with rails, but you can also choose to work with rings around a round stick.
By using double curtains in the princess room you can create a very atmospheric look that is immediately royal, check above. Tie the front curtains together with a bow and voilà! As you can see above, using voiles as curtains gives just that little bit extra.
Look, if you have the opportunity, then such a chandelier is of course the icing on the cake. Or the glass slipper with the pumpkin or something like that. You can find the above pink chandelier at Bol.com, for example.
As you can see, with small things you can style the bedroom in such a way that it immediately gets the look of a princess room. You will find plenty of string lights in the most beautiful variants at Xenos.
Mirror, mirror on the wall… of course and preferably a gold one! Over the top or not, a gold mirror completes the room for princesses!
Of course you can also place entire castle beds, but that is actually not necessary at all. And let's face it… in a few years they want something different. With these small adjustments you can make a beautiful princess room for a fairly low budget. Is your girl completely happy again!
