It's the holidays, it's hot, and your kids want to to cool off?
We know the famous water fight, but we sometimes run out of ideas to find other games with water.
You don't need a lot of materials, just a little imagination, and you can create games for kids that don't cost a penny;)
Whether you have a garden or not, here are 11 fun tips for refreshing children with water games. Watch:
Fill balloons with cold water and tie them to a string. Then hang them up high. Give the kids a small plastic bat (or a wooden spatula) so they can pop the piñatas and get sprayed.
Take a deep bowl. Mix water with food coloring and place plastic toys like these dinosaurs for example. Freeze everything and once frozen, unmold the block of ice. Give small plastic tools to your children so that they can do archaeological digs in this crust of ice.
Take sponges of different colors and slice them lengthwise.
Stack 8 pieces of sponges and floss underneath in the middle. Tie the pieces of sponge tightly and form a kind of pompom. Tie everything tightly.
Dip the sponge pompoms in cold water...and the wet sponge fight can begin!
Kids will love it during the heat of summer! Do not let the sprinkler run too long so as not to waste too much water. Check out the trick here.
Take a tarp and soap it up to make it slippery. Children in wet swimsuits can jump on them and slide on their stomachs as far as possible! Mine love it :-)
Make water bombs by filling balloons. Each team takes a basket and must catch the opposing team's balloons without exploding them. Those with the most win the right to bomb the losers!
A great summer classic! Fill your water guns and spray your opponents. Simple and effective when it's hot.
Take a large plastic bottle and drill a hole about 6-7 cm in diameter. Form 2 teams and choose the carrier of the target. Attach the bottle to the chosen child's head. The goal is to fill the bottle with the water gun aiming the hole in the target.
Fill a cup with water. All participants line up in single file. The goal is to fill the next person's cup by throwing the water over their head. If you play as a team, the winners are those who lost the least amount of water.
In a large basin of water, put a dozen apples. The goal is to catch them with your teeth. And forbidden to put your hands!
Arrange basins of different sizes in a line. The smaller and more distant the basin, the more points it earns. Children must make 3 throws with sponges full of water and achieve the highest score possible.
