You probably recognize it… your husband/boyfriend is watching TV, but you still have something to say about your day. You make coffee, sit down next to your partner on the couch and start talking. Logical, because you want to share how your day has been today. During your story you will occasionally hear some 'hmmm' and 'huhuh'. Only when you ask your husband a question, or indicate that you have 'so' made an appointment for the weekend, does he wake up.

Your dog will always listen to you with full attention. Whether you're complaining about work, talking about an altercation with a friend, or grumbling that your mother-in-law shows up unexpectedly again. Your four-legged friend listens faithfully to your stories.
Despite the fact that men like to have dinner ready when they get home, they still regularly perform it to criticize your cooking. The potatoes are not salty enough, the meat is too well done, your latest stew looks like a volcano about to erupt. And so on.
