We didn't all make the autumn treats ourselves, by the way. I tried some of them, but we found the ideas on Pinterest. All credits go to their creative creators!

Do you also love autumn so much? With all those beautiful colors outside… The sunny days, interspersed with a good storm here and there. It is therefore an ideal season for kids:they can alternate playing outside with playing indoors. Does boredom set in when the weather is a bit less? No worries; get into the kitchen together and whip up treats this fall. Also worth a visit if there is nothing to celebrate. Then you just celebrate that it's autumn.
Another advantage of autumn:it's officially time for hot chocolate again! A treat in itself, of course. But especially if you put such a festive snowman on top. The real snow may have to wait a little longer (hopefully)… But you can already make snowmen!
Stick the marshmallows on a skewer. Decorate the snowman with a chocolate stick. Use pods for the arms and legs. And don't forget the nose:you can use a wine gum for that. And then it's time to splash your snowman in a nice cup of hot chocolate! But, eat him quickly, because that snowman will melt quickly. We found the idea for the marshmallow snowman on It's always Autumn.

Like it or not (probably not), fall is also spider season. And so these spider cookies are also appropriate fall treats to make. If you dare. Maybe an idea for Halloween?
We found the idea for the spider cookies through Pinterest. You will also find many more fun creative ideas there. Definitely worth checking out if you like hobbies. You can also read exactly how to make these cookies on the site.
Ideal to treat in class:cupcakes. Is your child's birthday in the fall? Then these mushroom cupcakes might be a great idea! The idea comes from Koopmans, and they can tell you better than anyone how to brown them 😉 .
Making the cupcakes takes about 35 minutes, and if the kids lend a hand you might be ready even faster… All you need is a pack of Koopmans Mushroom Cakes, 2 eggs, 50 grams of butter and water. So child's play 😉 .
Linda van Go or No Go came up with another very tasty and easy autumn delicacy, she made the acorns as you see them in the picture above. And also the hedgehogs that you see on the board below by the way. But the acorns are very easy to make, super autumnal and therefore should not be missing among these autumn treats, don't you think?
Also nice for an autumn breakfast on Sunday morning:these hedgehog egg cakes. You can make them cozy with the kids because it is, very appropriately, really a piece of cake. And then they can immediately help eat the leftover egg cake.
Cut the egg cakes in the above shape. You can also use a glass to make them all neat. Or do you have a steady hand? Spread the 'bottom' of the hedgehogs with butter. And then make the spikes with sprinkles. Children who do not like butter unfortunately have a problem, they will have to go for the stingless hedgehog. Finally, finish off the fall treats by drawing the eyes and nose with an icing marker. This nice idea comes from Treat Ideas.
Also super fun to treat, of course, if your school doesn't have a healthy treats policy. Because these autumn treats are, well, not exactly low in calories… But hey, we could all use a little bit of fat for the winter, right?
Spider webs and cupcakes. An excellent combination and not even that difficult to make. This fall treat recipe was featured by Dr. Oetker on the website, but hey… if you can grab a cupcake, then you're done with these webs with an edible marker or some edible liquid, right?
Do you have a great idea for fall treats? Share it in a comment below this blog! Are you done with all these treats, have the kids eaten enough and it just keeps raining? Then it's time for some original indoor activities for children.
We have written a separate article for it, because this drop spin is also super fun to make of course!
