I tested this recipe this weekend and even if I'm not a food blogger, I thought that for once, I could vary my editorial line (if there is one)
Here is the perfect recipe for a weekend
Ingredients :
1 day off
2 pairs of parents from whom you will remove the children
Reserve the children for their grandparents who will take care of them at home
1 car fresh out of the garage
for better optimization, prefer a comfortable car with a fairly large trunk in order to carry plenty of equipment
1 apartment unearthed on Airbnb at the foot of the slopes of a beautiful resort (here Aime La Plagne 2000)
optional 1 special playlist that you can title according to your wish (#onsecasse #anouslatranquilité #viteauSki…)
The recipe is extremely simple – you know I have two left hands – so you take these 4 friends, put them in the car full of skis and food on a Friday at 5pm.
Count one hour in traffic jams to get out of Paris, then let everyone ride, one after the other, taking just 1 petrol pee break.
Around midnight, without having needed - phew - to chain, find the concierge who will give you the keys to the apartment for a small "late arrival" supplement because La Plagne is still far away.
After a night's rest, rent ski boots to all these people that are definitely boring to put on, laugh again and again. Go down, go up, go down again. As many times as necessary to deserve mulled wine and local dish.
At the end of the day, put everything to cook in the hammam of the residence of the apartment. Alternate with 3 ice showers. Put back to cook until feeling of extreme well-being.
Take it all back to the apartment for aperitif / pasta / sleep early because we have the same day to do the next day and we plan to enjoy a crazy snow and dream weather.
On Monday morning, put the apartment and the suitcases in order or vice versa.
Take a 4-hour pass only and discover the pleasure of being the 1st on the slopes waiting for the ski lifts to start.
At noon, do a clean inventory and put the same more or less battered friends back in the more or less dirty car with crisps on the outside and salt on the inside (or vice versa)
700 km and 6h30 later disembark this happy little world promising to do it again very quickly
Find the delighted children. Thank you very much granny.
And… have the P’tit revise the history presentation
