I received the latest book by Monique van der Vloed. The book is aptly named:'Pure Nature Vegetables'. The book starts with general information about why vegetables are so important. The fact is that many people eat no or far too few vegetables and Monique wants to change that. She herself eats at least 1500 grams of vegetables per day, often even 2 kilos.
After the general introduction about vegetables, she gives tips on how to start eating more vegetables yourself. In addition, she immediately treats a number of vegetables that are easy and quick to prepare. Think of red cabbage, beetroot, kidney beans, green beans and white beans.
After this, countless recipes have been included to process vegetables into delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vegetables as a snack and snack, smoothies and vegetables in your soup are also discussed. The recipes are quick and easy to make on a weekday. So you no longer have an excuse not to get started.
The cookbook has 176 pages, is clearly laid out and provided with great beautiful photos. The photos alone will make your mouth water and make choosing a lot easier. The dishes are varied and there really is something for everyone. Are you not eating an egg? No problem, Monique has developed a recipe for an egg substitute. Sugar is also not used in her recipes, everything is sweetened with stevia extract.
The book is highly recommended for vegans and vegetarians. But this book is also indispensable if you eat meat and want to add more vegetables to your diet.
