But the jury of this election doesn't care only that toys are fun to play with – undoubtedly one of our kids' few priorities. They also look at whether toys are educational and contribute to the development of children. Or that it stimulates their creativity, for example.

That is possible, because toys do not have an expiration date and who knows, there may still be some nice things in between that are not yet in your toy box. We wrote a blog about it last year. But we now move on to the nominees for Toy of the Year 2019 that we have drawn up as a result of the election.
