I can really enjoy it, with a cup of coffee in a chair watching the children having fun outside. In fact, we have never done anything other than approach the ideas for the garden in such a way that the children enjoy playing in a child-friendly garden. And you don't really need that much. With a swing, a sandbox, grass and possibly a wooden play tower you can come a long way. Check out the cool child-friendly garden ideas below.
And luckily, the swing comes in all kinds of variants. For example, you have the children's swing below as you undoubtedly know it, but you can also opt for a cool net swing. You used to see this more often in outdoor playgrounds, but nowadays you see it more and more in the backyard. Super fun right?!
If you still have small children, a swing is also fantastic, but keep in mind that you first choose a model that such a little one cannot fall out of. Something like below. When your kids grow up, you just need to change the swing and keep the rest of the ideas for your kid-friendly garden the same.
Hint: When choosing a swing for smaller children, really choose a swing where they sit with their legs separated by a partition as you can see above. Otherwise they will slide right through the bars. And in any case, always stay with it!
The inspiration below is great for your children to chill in the garden, child-friendly and relatively simple ideas. An ordinary car tire as a swing, for example, also wants to catch on well. Just on one rope, or on its side so you can sit more in it.
Maybe you don't have much space in your garden, or you don't want to look at a colossal hut and a complete climbing frame? No problem, there are also nice, sweet cute ideas for a hut in your child-friendly garden that will make you happy too.
The wooden tipi tent below is not that difficult to make and looks great. Blanket and a few pillows in it and mom or dad also want to relax here. On the right photo you see a hut made of old pallets. Also very easy and still great fun for the kids. A little sanding, a lick of paint and you're done. We also have such a pallet house in the garden, only with a flat roof, even easier 😉 .
Kids don't need much to have fun. In fact; the less there is, the more they will use their imagination. With a mud kitchen and some outdoor toys you are guaranteed a lot of fun. The kitchen itself does not necessarily have to have a water connection. Just add a bucket of water and some sand and the kids are 'ready to go'. And are they already well versed in the kitchen? Then your children might want to help you plant a vegetable garden!
You can of course buy an outdoor kitchen, but if you can buy some pallets, then a mud kitchen is also made in no time. Check the ideas below for kitchens in your child-friendly garden.
