Erasmus, in real life, it happens a bit like in the Spanish Inn. We party (a lot), we do (a lot) of nonsense, we work (a little), we make (great) friends and we would also (sometimes) find love! This has just been confirmed by the statistics released by the European Commission.
After collecting more than 80,000 responses from 34 countries, the Commission found that 27% of former Erasmus students who responded to the survey had met their current spouse or partner during their stay abroad, i.e. more than a quarter of them !
According to these results, these couples would most often be of different nationalities. A third (33%) of former students are thus concerned by these love affairs, i.e. three times more than for students who have not gone abroad (13%).

Even more amazing! The European university exchange program has even contributed to the birth of at least one million babies since its entry into force in 1987! If an Erasmus Babies meeting was one day planned, we would then wish good luck to the organizers...
Otherwise, Erasmus is also a great asset for finding a job. About 64% of employers surveyed consider experience abroad to be important for being hired, compared to only 37% in 2007. Keep in mind for Junior.
