Brian Gordon is a cartoonist, but he's also a dad of 2 children.
And for him, raising his children is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the comics on his site Fowl Language .
Brian Gordon is used to drawing on many subjects...
...but it is his comics that portray the daily life of parents that speak most to dads and moms around the world.
“My comics are almost all autobiographical. I have two children aged 4 and 7. And very often, what I draw happened to me no later than the same day. said Gordon.
If they are all funny, it is mainly because they are also very realistic!
Let's start with his favorite, titled Welcome to the World of Parents , and which, according to Gordon, sums up all of his comics perfectly.
“Sometimes it feels like being a parent is a real ordeal! But at the same time, it's also such a rewarding experience! I think that's why there are so many people on our planet. »
It's so true ! Without further ado, here are the 15 Hilarious comics about the daily life of parents . Watch:

I love Gordon's comics because they perfectly show what parenting life is like.
These comics do not carry moral lessons or judgments but just a little humor about the daily realities that we live.
When I asked Gordon what was the worst piece of advice he's ever received as a father, here's the anecdote he shared with me:
“At that time, I was in a terrible state, totally deprived of sleep. I was sitting in front of a cafe, devouring a sandwich next to my 1-month-old son, who was resting his lungs for a brief moment between bouts of screaming. That's when a rather puffy lady comes up to me and arrogantly says:
"You should take advantage of this period, sir:that's when they are easiest." That was exactly the worst thing anyone could say to me at that exact moment. I just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry! »
Who has never received this kind of useless and unwanted advice?
That's why Gordon's comics are so much fun to read:they give us a free space to laugh at the experiences all parents go through.
So, thanks to Gordon for managing to make us laugh (in between all those crying fits).
If like me you like Gordon's comics, you can find them here on the Internet.
Unfortunately, they have not yet been translated into French. We can't wait for it to be done!
Don't forget to check out Gordon's site, which is called Fowl Language. You can also follow him on Facebook.
