The place:

The Little Prince Park opened on July 1, 2014 and attracted over 200,000 visitors in 2017.
It is a park built on the themes of aviation and astronomy, space travel and nature with animals.
The park is located in the town of Ungersheim in Alsace.

Parking and reception

A large free car park awaits you at the entrance to the park, and the park is also served by shuttles. At the reception (ticket office), we met the mascot of the Little Prince, with whom we took some pictures.

Attractions:

Lots of attractions for all tastes, in a 24-hectare park!

We were able to do the following attractions:

  • Aérousel:Carousel with planes. A classic that all young children love

  • Hot air balloon:2 balloons are present in the park. This is one of the top attractions, you shouldn't miss it. The view from above is impressive, and even people who usually suffer from vertigo enjoyed it.

  • Trampoline Park:an indoor space with many trampolines. Takes place in the form of a “session” for a fixed duration. Relaxation and fun guaranteed with music and reduced lighting.

  • Courrier Sud:an interactive indoor play area. The game consists of finding objects linked to a country by positioning yourself on the right squares (6 participants simultaneously) through several successive rooms. Rather complicated for young children, to be avoided.
  • Desert Dew:outdoor space with water jets. Essential in summer under a bright sun. A word of advice:plan a swimsuit / flip-flops / towels for your children

  • Le Serpent:an attraction open since 2017 that is worth a visit. It is a classic merry-go-round (rail train in the form of a Snake) but very suitable for children. Our son liked it so much that we did 2 rounds in a row.

  • The Volcano:inflatable games area under a marquee (with refreshment area and other games). Our son loved the play area (reserved for 0-7 years old) with a robotic inflatable crocodile. Never seen this elsewhere personally!

  • Le Serpent Boa:small outdoor playground (to do if you pass by but don't cross the whole park for that)
  • Refreshing path:an alley with many vaporizers, a welcome refreshing round trip when it's hot!

Practical info:

Prices:

  • Child ticket:€15
  • Adult ticket:€20
  • Family pass (2 adults + 2 children):€64

There are also season passes which become interesting if you plan to make at least 3 visits over the year.

To eat on site, several restaurants are available (reasonable prices) and picnic areas are available directly in the park.

The shows:

Several shows are offered. The times are specified on the park map available at the entrance.

Unfortunately, we did not have time to attend a show, so we cannot comment on this point.

Personally, I have never read the story of the little prince… But I think that for my general knowledge, one day I should open this book and read it…
