I was often told “enjoy your pregnancy”!

  • For the 1st:I was zen! I spent my time reading mom's blogs, finding good tips to prepare for the arrival of baby...
  • For the 2nd pregnancy:I worked throughout my pregnancy, the time I did not see passed! The 9 months have passed very quickly!

And since I knew I would only want 2…I wanted to immortalize every moment of my pregnancy. And keep as many memories of my pregnancy , and have a lot of photos of my children (the important stages of his life)

The different ideas to keep this fabulous memory:

There are different methods to mark this great event and it is up to you to choose what suits you best.

  • To be patient while waiting for the baby to arrive.
  • Leave a souvenir to the children when they grow up.

Photobook

One of the great classics is the photo book. Indeed, it allows you to collect your moments shared with dad or mom while waiting for the arrival of baby. The first moments of the children, I machine-gunned them, because on the first days, the babies change so quickly… Over 3 days, they have already changed!
We can therefore either frame them or make an album.
Online sites specializing in photo albums make your job easier and allow you to choose the layout of the photos, a theme, colors, to find a unique piece that will be unique to you.

Photo shoot

You can also trust the skills of a professional to immortalize this memory on a two-person shoot. Most photographers now offer maternity photo packages which allow you to leave with quality photos that you can choose to frame and hang or keep in a photo album. A memory of a moment spent together that will be dear to you and that you will be happy to share.

Time Lapse

The new trend in immortalizing these months of pregnancy is the time-lapse. In videos or photos, it presents the evolution of the pregnancy over all its months. The principle is simple:a photo showing the same angle of view of the belly of the pregnant woman, often dressed in the same outfit for each photo, which accentuates this impression of "time lapse" and zooms in on the evolution of the pregnancy .

Birth announcement

To announce the arrival of baby, we obviously warned all our loved ones by phone, text, parents etc. But we wanted to stay “classic”, we still sent everyone a birth announcement ,. Today, they are in a box that I keep as a souvenir and that I will show to the children when they are older.

Pregnancy vlogs

By remaining in the concept of a visual memory, some pregnant women embark on what are called "vlogs" which consists of video blogging the significant events of their pregnancy to share their experience with other women in their case or simply leave a memory that they can share with their child when he is old enough to understand.

Pregnancy diaries

Then there are other ideas such as the classic pregnancy diaries which can be found ready-made and which can be filled with milestones or souvenir photos and which often continues until the birth of the baby and also marks his first moments with his parents. A good way to leave a mark of this moment that is difficult to explain and that we should definitely not forget!
