Women who want to beat each other. There is often a battle going on among the female sex and a sense of envy. But why? We're generally just the same, aren't we?
When men argue with each other, they fight it out once or give each other a handshake and it's over. As if nothing had happened, they dive into a brown cafe together to drink a beer. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way for women. We rarely fight it out literally. We often act sneaky, mean and a little underhanded. Without touching each other we make life miserable.
Women always feel like they have to compete, even with girlfriends. Do you secretly recognize that too? We pay attention to everything. What kind of clothes is she wearing, how is her hair, how has she done her make up and are her nails painted. We all see it and that makes us a little insecure… and that's where the feeling of envy starts.
A trip together? When I go in flats I feel a bit clunky when my girlfriend wears poles to gunter. But when I wear heels and she wear sneakers, she feels like a dwarf, because I've been my own for a long time. Nowadays we first text each other for the dress code 😉 , which is handy.
We are so hard on each other. We have that with our girlfriends, but it gets even worse when it comes to women who aren't friends with you. A fiery look can do a lot.
A while ago I was walking in the city. There was a girl who had a really nice dress on, so I looked at that. After which I got a cocky look from her, what are you looking at? Can you see?… uhm excuse me, I just raised my eyebrows and said nothing. I only watched because she looked nice, but her behavior ruined that whole picture. My judgment about her was immediately ready, you understand that 😉 , while she was perhaps just insecure.
Jealousy among women is far and not always about a man. It's in us. We may become jealous of another woman's appearance, her hair, or feel envious of her career. But also simply when we don't like each other, and that is surprisingly fast. Fortunately, not every woman thinks this way.
This is much less common among men. Men can genuinely admire and appreciate each other without being jealous of each other. We should take that as an example.
Ze.nl conducted research and questioned the ladies in this area. The worst pranks surfaced. For example, there were plenty of ladies who deliberately gave their girlfriend high-calorie items as a gift because they did not want her to lose weight.
There were also several girlfriends who indicated that they had deliberately put an ugly outfit on their girlfriend, because they normally wear it. always looks so beautiful.
