This study - published in the journal PLOS Biology - was carried out by Case University in Cleveland, Ohio. To achieve this, the researchers conducted studies on … flies. The latter would share more than 60% of genes in common with humans. Scientists observed these female flies at the time of reproduction. Thus, they found that it took 15 minutes for these insects to accept or reject the "advances" of the male. Beyond 30 minutes, if the female does not react, we can deduce that there will be nothing more with her suitor.
For us women... it would be the same thing if we believe the scientists:15 minutes flat! But is it serious to compare our behavior to that of flies?
