Couple:this behavior at the start of a relationship announces a future breakup according to science, find out which one!

Love, ah love, that extravagant change in our life that suddenly heals us of so much; the spirit and the heart embalmed by the feelings, here we are, abandoning ourselves fully to the other, and vice versa. A form of childish regression takes place, "my baby" "my cracotte" "my angel" "I miss you already" "how did I manage to live before you" etc, etc! Others on the contrary when they are pierced by the arrow react more soberly, inclined not to succumb to what some call "silliness". Well know that the latter would be, according to a study, better off to succeed as a couple.

Couple:the dangers of passion

American researchers have indeed revealed that an overflow of affection between two people at the start of a relationship could predict a divorce a few years later. This is the conclusion of a study, itself published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology .

To arrive at this result, the scientists followed 168 couples for 13 years, in order to determine what were the warning signs of a marriage that lasts or, on the contrary, of a divorce. Thus, they observed that couples who were "too affectionate" from the start were more likely to later divorce.

Passion in love VS Love

The desire for a merger would therefore be harmful to the couple, as explained by Madeleine Mason Roantree, a psychologist interviewed by the newspaper The Independent :"Some people get caught up in the infatuation at the start of a relationship, hence the term 'love is blinding', but we know that infatuation, passion, are not possible long-term states. Once that goes away, you have to look at what's left between the two people, and if there's no connection other than passion, then the relationship is in danger of falling apart."

It is up to the authors of the study to argue that it is disillusion, after passion, excessive affection for the other, which very often leads to divorce in these cases. Obviously, some couples know how to domesticate their passion and love each other with the same intensity from the first day to the last. These have our full admiration!
