It's a question we all ask ourselves when starting a new relationship:when is the right time to say "I love you" for the first time to your partner? Moreover, Google search offers more than 1 elsewhere, Google search offers more than 1.3 million results, proof if necessary that this is a question that works more than one. And since declaring your flame to someone is obviously not an exact science, the British polling institute YouGov looked into the question in order to find out the main trends. Thus, 3,947 people were asked to indicate after how long they had said "I love you" to the person they are dating. And if a majority (27%) of respondents answered "I don't know" (super useful!), it was "in the first three months" that emerged, for 22% of participants.
The responses to this survey are actually quite varied:14% of respondents said so in the first 6 months, 13% in the first month, 6% in the first year, 2% in the first two years (oh yes, you have to be patient!) and 3%… the first week (the score being higher in men than in women)! And there are also people who said they never said so (3%), either because they didn't have the time or didn't feel the right moment, and others who said they had never felt it, therefore never said it (7% all the same). Let it be said:there are no rules when it comes to declaring feelings. Of course, saying "I love you" too quickly can be scary, while never saying it can put off a partner. In fact, say it when you feel it, and not to hold someone back or gain their trust.
